Buttermilk biscuit – Perfectly fluffy + light. Dry and flaky crust, layered and moist crumb. Balance of sweet/salty. Strong but not overpowering sugary aroma. Butter was a cream consistency, melted on the biscuit immediately. Bread was a bit too oily/buttery.

We shared the palmier. It was perfectly flaky and not too sweet. Only thing that could be better was the time we bought it at – it probably would be more fresh in the morning.

Focaccia - very fluffy, oily texture. Tasted like pizza crust. Served with dollop of butter in olive oil.
Had this pan-iron aftertaste that was less pleasant
Paired with miso black cod + dashi broth
